Stay Home

This is my husband Jack. He’s venturing out today after we’ve been sheltering in place for 12 days. And he’s not just headed anywhere...he’s going to a hospital. I wish he didn’t have to but there’s no choice.

Jack is a three time kidney transplant patient and requires a monthly infusion to keep his donated organ safe. He’ll wear his mask the whole time, has hand sanitizer with him and will immediately disinfect all his belongings and clothes when he returns home.

We’re both in an age range that isn’t being impacted as greatly by the virus but with a compromised immune system, COVID-19 could hit him much harder than me, so all precautions are being taken.

Jack is just one of many who don’t have a choice but to brave the outside world right now. He’s not sick and we’re doing everything in our power to keep it that way...but we also need all of you to do the same.
So we don’t just ask, but plead with you, if you are able, to stay home.

Stay home. Stay home. Stay home.

à la prochaine fois,
anna
